Our Partner Preschool

KCIS is partnered with KCIP, a preschool for children aged between 18 months and 5 years, which neighbours KCIS. For further information about the pre-school visit KCIP website.

Inspiring Every Child to Love Learning

KCIS uses a fixed number of weeks per term so as to divide the school calendar into equal teaching periods. These terms are either 12 or 13 weeks each and do not run exactly as per the traditional international school calendar, but school holidays are in line with the international school calendar.

 

Term Dates for the Academic Year 2020/21 are: 

Term 1: 17th August - 20th November 2020

Term 2: 23rd November 2020 - 12th March 2021

Term 3: 15th March - 23rd June 2021

 

School Holidays for the Academic Year 2020/21 are:

17th August: Term Starts

Mid Term Break: 12th - 16th October 2020

Christmas Break: 14th December 2019 - 5th January 2021

Mid Term Break: 15th - 19th February 2021

Easter Break:  29th March -9th April 2021

School Closes: 24th June 2021, 12pm

 

KCIS School is closed on all Ugandan public holidays.
