Which Year Will My Child Be In?

KCIS has 6 academic years. Allocation of classes is by date of birth at the beginning of the school year (1st September).

Key Stage One (two years)

Year 1 - children aged 5 at the beginning of the school academic year;

Year 2 - children aged 6 at the beginning of the school academic year;

Key Stage Two (four years)

Year 3 - children aged 7 at the beginning of the school academic year;

Year 4 - children aged 8 at the beginning of the school academic year;

Year 5 - children aged 9 at the beginning of the school academic year;

Year 6 - children aged 10 at the beginning of the school academic year;
